Unleashed Hope is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people navigate life's most difficult transitions without losing the companionship of their pets. We believe that no one should have to choose between seeking safety, treatment, housing, or medical care and keeping the animals they love.
Our mission is to provide temporary pet care, foster support, resources, and community connections for individuals facing crisis situations, including recovery and treatment programs, domestic violence, homelessness, medical emergencies, and other life-altering circumstances.
Through a network of foster homes, community partnerships, volunteers, and supporters, we work to remove one of the most common barriers people face when seeking help: concern for their pets' wellbeing.

A Message From Our Founders
Unleashed Hope began with a simple belief: when people are given support during their darkest moments, families can stay together and lives can change. We have witnessed firsthand how many individuals delay treatment, remain in unsafe situations, or struggle to access resources because they have nowhere safe for their pets to go.
Our goal is to change that reality. Through compassion, community support, and a commitment to preserving the human-animal bond, we are building a future where seeking help never means leaving a beloved pet behind.

A letter from our President
If there's one thing life has taught me, it's that most people are carrying a story you can't see.
Before I became a dog trainer, business owner, or nonprofit founder, I experienced homelessness myself. I know what it feels like to wonder where you're going to sleep, how you're going to make it through another day, and how quickly life can change. I know what it feels like to rebuild when everything you've worked for seems to have fallen apart.
During those seasons, animals weren't just companions. They were family. They were consistency in a world that felt uncertain. They were comfort when I felt alone. They were a reminder that even when life is hard, love still exists.
Years later, as I built a career working with dogs and their owners, I began noticing a pattern. I met people entering treatment who couldn't find care for their pets. Survivors of domestic violence who stayed longer than they should have because they couldn't leave their animals behind. People experiencing homelessness who were trying to care for a dog while struggling to meet their own basic needs.
What I saw wasn't neglect.
What I saw was love.
I saw people sharing what little food they had. Sleeping outside so their dog wouldn't be alone. Turning down opportunities for help because no one could tell them what would happen to their pet.
Having lived through hardship myself, I understood something many others didn't. Homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and crisis are rarely choices. For many people, caring for their pet isn't a sign of irresponsibility. It's an act of devotion in the middle of survival. The circumstances they face were often never a choice, and the care they provide is the very best they can manage with the resources available to them.
What was missing wasn't love.
What was missing was support.
That realization became Unleashed Hope.
After leaving corporate employment and building Wild Alchemy Training Company from the ground up, I knew I wanted to create something bigger than myself. I wanted to build an organization that could stand in the gap for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. An organization that believed people deserve dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to heal without losing the animals they love.
Unleashed Hope exists because I believe that keeping families together includes the pets who are part of those families. It exists because I know firsthand that one act of support can change the course of someone's life. And it exists because I believe that hope is most powerful when it is shared.
Every day, I have the privilege of helping build the kind of resource I wish existed for so many people I have known and for the version of myself who once needed it too.
This work is deeply personal to me.
It always will be.
